This lecture series follows on the heels of a first series on the same topic, which has taken place in the last few months, including an inaugural lecture on “Transatlantic Touching in the Early Modern World” by Whitney Sperrazza (Texas A&M University) and one on “Embodied Politics through Music, Dance, and Emotions in Early Modern Spain” by Sherry Velasco (University of Southern California).
